“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything… rather than face their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
— Carl Jung
Created by commission for a somatic therapist, Womb of the Sea is a visual sanctuary for the inward journey. Like an ocean cave shaped by time and tide, it offers a sense of sacred refuge—a space of warmth, quiet, and deep remembering.
This piece was designed to support healing: a safe container where clients and guide alike can soften, breathe, and gently explore the depths of self. In the stillness of this watery threshold, transformation begins—not through light alone, but by honoring the dark as a vital part of becoming whole.
